Salesforce demos Agentforce’s Power at Agentforce Tour in New York

I covered Salesforce AgentForce in New York this past month. This event was organized to showcase Salesforce’s Agentforce. Agentforce is DIY AI in action. Agentforce is a customer service agent that can be built by Salesforce customers and integrated into all industries across the customer journey.

In the keynote, Patrick Stokes, EVP of Product & Industries Marketing at Salesforce, asked, “What if organizations can create an unlimited labor force?” Salesforce shared how organizations use DIY AI in Agentforce to multiply their workforce.

I saw demos for use cases across industry verticals and the customer journey in Sales, Service, and Marketing functions.

Alice Steinglass, EVP & GM Platform at ‪Salesforce‬ demos how Prudential uses Agentforce.

Sanjna Parulekar, SVP of Product Marketing at ‎⁨Salesforce demos how Prudential uses Agentforce.

Jon Moore, Director of Product Marketing at Salesforce,‬ demos Agentforce, empowering Financial Advisors.

There was a panel discussion; leaders discussed using Agentforce and Agentic AI. Panelists also shared how they would like Agentforce and DIY AI to evolve to improve productivity and outcomes.

Lydia Dishman hosts a ‎⁨Salesforce media panel at Agentforce Tour on Agentforce and Agentic AI.

Agentforce Tour was a great event. I learned much about AI Agents, DIY AI, and how it can transform the customer experience.

People connect and network in the Salesforce Ecosystem while learning about Salesforce Agentforce’s new features and rollout.

Salesforce, thank you for having me at the Agentforce Tour.

If you want to be on the cutting edge of DIY AI, attend Agentforce in your city.

Survey of 2023 Holiday Spending

I surveyed my audience on LinkedIn on how their spending was impacted by inflation.

This is an updated extension of my last report where I surveyed my audience on LinkedIn about their holiday spending intent, method of purchase, types of purchase, and sentiment in the U.S. Consumer spending is always top of mind for marketers, sellers, and retailers.

This year, I focused only on inflation and holiday spending.

  1. How has inflation impacted your holiday spending?

How did inflation impact your spending during the holiday season? Share your thoughts.

As you can see, 71% percent said they spent less during this holiday season. Consumers must see value in what they are buying. Brands need to create memorable experiences for consumers with their offerings

Based on my research, my finding suggests:

  1. Inflation has dampened consumer spending during the holiday season.
  2. Customers are taking a closer look at their finances this year.
  3. Brands need to provide value offerings that create memorable experiences for customers.

How did inflation impact your holiday spending?

Please share your thoughts and join the conversation.

Sales, Marketing & Social Media Today

I write about the three topics that I am most passionate about; Sales, Marketing and Social Media. These topics are covered from my experiences in outside sales and marketing. My objective is to use my expertise to help business and the individual.

How to Create Content Customers Love

Creating content that engages customers is key. Another key element to creating customer-centered presentations and digital content is knowledge of buyer learning styles.

In other words, how do buyers learn best?

There are three learning styles, Visual, Auditory, and kinesthetic. 65 percent of learners are Visual but this is not everyone.

Survey Results

I surveyed my LinkedIn Audience to ask which types of content helps them to learn best and what type of content they value most.

As you can see, people learn best from a mix of written, video, audio, and content formats.

Of the types of content, people want to read, many want to read industry insights, how-to, insights from conferences, and a mix of all of the above.

Based on my findings, I would recommend that content be:

1.Created and repurposed in multiple formats

2.Content is about industry insights, how-to, and insights from conferences

The overall content strategy should be based on how your customers learn and the types and format of content based on their wants and needs.

Bonus Content

In the presentation below, I provide ideas and strategies to:

1.Collect information on your buyer’s learning style

2.Create presentations and content that will engage buyers with content that is optimized to their learning style making it more engaging**

3.Create differentiated presentations and content for all learners when buyer learning styles are unknown

** How to Customize Presentations & content to Buyer learning Styles **
